Unveiliing!
We're proud to name our batting cage at Kinsmen Field in honour of former KBA President and longtime volunteer Paul O'Kane. Paul shared his passion for baseball and the importance of giving back to our community with countless young people as a coach and community leader. In 2020 Paul's contributions to Kanata Baseball, other youth sports and many charitable ventures were recognized with the Mayor's City Builder Award.
Now, almost one year after Paul's passing, we're proud to honour his legacy by naming this training facility as the Paul O'Kane Batting Cage. In Paul's words, we hope our players can use this batting cage "for the love of the game".
