Senior League is for 15-16 year old players.  Programming is offered in the Spring (May-June) and Summer (July-Aug).

Tiered Play. Sort-outs take place mid-April to organize players for best experience and chance to develop their skills.

Canadians 1 top-level team formed based on sort-outs.  Plays spring Canadians (A) Interlock &  District playdowns
Nationals Remainder of players sorted into balanced teams for spring Nationals (B) Interlock play
  • Spring - Early May to late June. 12 game regular season schedule plus play-offs.
  • Summer - July and August. 12 game regular season schedule plus play-offs.
Game Frequency: 1-2 games per week, usually weeknights
Practices: 1 per week, usually on weekend
Weekend play?: Possible, but weekends are often reserved for practices.
Play-offs: Games played after the Regular Season for 1 or 2 weeks mid-to-late June
Diamonds: Upper Kinsmen, Lower Kinsmen (Home diamonds)
Field Size: 90-ft baselines
Pitching distance: 60 feet, 6 inches
Bats allowed: Wood bats, BBCOR -3
Metal cleats allowed: Yes
Provided by league:
  • Spring - Loaner team shirt, keeper team KBA hat
  • Summer - Keeper dry-fit shirt
Provided by player: Batting helmet, baseball glove, pants suitable for playing sport, jock or jill, non-metal cleats or metal cleats.

All coaches are instructed to follow a strict guideline for pitch counts and associated rest periods in order to protect young and developing pitching arms. These guidelines are set out by Little League in cooperation with sports and medical authorities across North America.
