KBA's Annual General Meeting - October 15th

A reminder that the Kanata Baseball Association Annual General Meeting is coming up on Thursday, October 15 at 8:00 p.m.

What is the AGM?

The Annual General Meeting is where the Association reports to its members. It gives KBA members an opportunity to respond, react and provide input — becoming part of the solution to provide better baseball for the youth in our community.

All KBA members in good standing are invited to attend to:

• Hear updates on our programs, operations and finances
• Participate in the election of KBA Executive Board members
• Ask questions and provide input
• Meet our current Executive Board
• Recognize some of our outstanding volunteers from the 2026 season
• Consider getting involved with KBA yourself

Executive Positions Up for Election

The following KBA Executive Board positions will be up for election at this AGM:

• President
• Treasurer
• VP Operations
• Secretary

Interested in getting involved? Self-nominate or nominate someone you know for any of these positions by emailing the nominee’s full name and the position they are being nominated for to president@kanatabaseball.com.

Please keep in mind that only KBA members in good standing are eligible to vote at the AGM.

The AGM is an important part of how KBA operates, and we encourage our members to come out, learn more, have their voices heard and help shape the future of baseball in our community.
