Coach Training - NCCP
**NEW for House/Little League Coaches in 2023:
Custom in-house coach training to give you the confidence and skill to run great practices, develop players skills and manage games.
Training program consist of:
Two on-line sessions: April 18 & April 19, 7pm-9pm
Session 1 - Online meeting, discussing how players learn, considerations when teaching, and how to set up a practice.
Session 2 - Online meeting, discussing game management and in introduction to teaching the skills of hitting, pitching, and fielding.
One in-person session: April 22 @ Sensplex Fieldhouse, 3pm-6pm

Rep/Dedicated Select Coach Training:
The NCCP basic entry level course is the "Coach Initiation in Baseball (Online)". It is recommended that every coach has a minimum of the Initiation Online course. This provides a foundation for coaches to build on, the focus isn’t “what to coach” but is on “how to be a coach”.
NCCP Coach clinics will be on-line this year due to the pandemic.
Registration is done on the Baseball Canada Coaches website - if you are new to NCCP, you must "Register" (left menu) for Coach Initiation to create an account and have an NCCP coach number assigned. Otherwise, simply sign in and click on the Clinics menu item to register for the needed clinics.
