11U Tournament in Kanata

Congratulations to our 11U Rep team for hosting a successful tournament this past weekend. Head Coach John Craig led a dedicated team of assistant coaches and parent volunteers to quickly plan and deliver this fun event for the 11U Kanata Cubs, the Seaway Surge and two Tyrans de Gatineau teams.

The tournament included a skills competition with a home run derby, baserunning and around-the-horn, as well as a prize raffle, medals for the finalists and a trophy for the winning Tyrans de Gatineau team who edged out the Kanata Cubs 5-4 in a hard-fought final game.

The kids were thrilled to play a high level of intense baseball games over the three days of the tournament and there was a great energy from everyone who watched or participated in this safe, fun tournament on Kanata's baseball fields.
